The government has a report that indicates Rohingyas' involvement with the
violence in Ramu and Chittagong, Home Minister Mohiuddin Khan Alamgir said on
Monday. "The government is aware of Rohingya link with the violence," the minister said replying to queries.
He was talking to reporters after inaugurating a training programme at Armed Police Battalion (APBn) headquarters in the capital.
Mohiuddin said the law enforcers have been asked to keep vigilance in the areas where the Rohingya refugee camps are situated.
They have been instructed to restrict Rohingyas within the refugee camps preventing communication with the local people, he added.
The minister launched the six-week training programme of the newly formed battalion of police titled Special Security and Protection Battalion (SSPBn).
